Let's talk about teaching Level Three Tap!

Level Three is an exciting step in tap dance study because students are introduced to

classic material including Varsity Drag, Irish, Maxie Ford, Waltz Clog and flaps. In

addition, their shuffles begin to go in all directions with a hop added for the Irish.

Progressively more challenging rhythms are added as they learn to leap, scuff and accent certain sounds. By now they are fully shifting their weight with increased understanding of the principles of Release, Relax and Ready.
