Let's talk about teaching Adult Tap - Level Two!
The paddle and roll, or paradiddle - consisting of a heel dig, spank, toe dig and heel drop - owes much to hoofers such as John Bubbles, known as the Father of Rhythm Tap, and Steve Condos, who developed rudiment exercises that strengthen small footwork patterns. In Level II, adults and teens learn to move the "1" to either the heel dig or the heel drop.
